THANK YOU

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Due to the COVID-19 surge, the Plymouth Community Food Pantry has suspended, until further notice, the indoor shopping option.  We do this out of an abundance of concern for the health and well being of our clients and volunteers.  We are still conducting our operations and serving clients through either curbside pick-up or home delivery.  Please be safe and stay healthy.

The Plymouth Community Food Pantry is open to ANY Plymouth resident needing food.  During the Covid-19 Pandemic, you are invited to shop weekly.  Food distributions are based on the size of your family. There are currently two shopping options:

Curbside Pick Up:    a volunteer will shop for the client

Shopping:                   SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Home Delivery:         for clients who are house-bound

All options are by appointment.  Please call (860) 584-1750 and leave a clear message, stating your name and phone number.  Your call will be returned ASAP to set up a time to shop.  Our hours of operations are:

Monday 12-3 p.m.

Wednesday 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Friday 8:30 a.m -12 noon

The pantry is currently operating under Covid-19 guidelines as set by the CDC and the State of Connecticut.  Please check the ‘Covid-19 Protocols’ tab above to see the procedures being followed and the forms being used.

The Food Pantry is committed to making sure all the needs of Plymouth residents challenged with food insecurity are met.

The Plymouth Community Food Pantry would like to thank all of those who have been so kind to our mission over the past 6 months. The Covid-19 Pandemic has affected everyone in one way or the other.  Yet, individuals, businesses, and civic organizations have shown their spirit of giving.  Monetary donations and food donations, along with a strong Board of Directors and committed volunteers, have enabled the Pantry to have one of the most productive summers ever.  Shelves are well stocked, and refrigerators and freezers are full.  Clients are continuously expressing their appreciation for healthy and nutritious offerings they receive upon each visit.  No matter how small or large your contribution, you have made a difference.  In the words of Mother Teresa, “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
